GDT Shortlisted for local award

MAde in Bury Award Shortlist logo
We’ve been shortlisted

To say i’m gobsmacked is an understatement, that my small local driving school has been shortlisted for one of the Made in Bury Awards (Best in Class Motoring and Transport) …………absolutely……. just gobsmacked.

The Made In Bury Awards are open to ALL businesses whatever there size, so to be nominated along side the likes of RRG Toyota is in my opinion quite an achievement.
What is more the satisfying is this is not just a facebook /Twitter competition but one that took a written application (which kept me up for far too long sometimes) and subsequently judged by my peers in business and Bury Council.
The next stage is a Q & A session with the judges where they will make their final decision to be announced at the Gala Dinner on the 20th November. I don’t know whats more nerve wracking, a panel of judges or having to scrub up for a black tie event. I lied !!!! The black tie and suit etc, scares me to death.
You can find more about the awards and other categories and finalists on the dedicated web site www. madeinbury.co.uk

If at first you dont succeed.
